Lithium Batteries |

| Lithium batteries can be used
in most all the same
applications as regular
Alkaline batteries, with the
exception of the higher
voltage AA and half AA sizes.
Lithium batteries provide
much longer service life than
alkalines, up to 7 times as
long in some applications, but
may only cost twice the
price. They are lighter and
perform remarkably well in
cold conditions. The Lithium
AA and AAA size batteres are
ideal for use in digital
cameras because they will
last up to 5 times longer and
weigh a third of the alkaline
equivalents. Here we also list
the Tadiran 3.6v AA battery
that is often used in dive
computers and specialist
applications, this battery
should not be used in
applications where a 1.5v
lithium or alkaline battery is
normally used. |
