GP Batteries equivalent of the Vinnic alkaline L1021. The L battery number prefix often indicates an alkaline chemistry.

The GP10A 9V is also known as Vinnic L1021 or L1022, E10A, A10, WE10A, 10A.
This battery is frequently used in car alarms and burglar alarm remote controls.

Please note that the original Vinnic battery is a slightly different shape to the GP10A with slightly higher shoulders on the Vinnic version, although the overall length is the same. This can mean that when fitting the battery into the battery compartment the terminals may need bending slightly to make a good contact.
