The Omega battery charger is an "intelligent" charger which can detect when the batteries are fully charged and automatically switch to trickle charge mode to keep the batteries fully charged without over charging them.

The LCD display indicates the charging status of each cell and will identify any faulty batteries using bad cell detection circuitry.
