About Us

Online-Batteries is part of WatchBattery UK Ltd, which started selling watch batteries on the Internet in 1999. Watch batteries rapidly led on to other types of batteries; such as cordless phone batteries and rechargeable batteries, and also into other watch related products.

Online-batteries has now been redesigned and refocused to concentrate specifically on the battery part of our product range. Whilst continuing to offer the high level of customer service and competitive prices it has always done, Online-batteries will also be offering an extended range of batteries.

Based in Lydiard Millicent, a small village on the western outskirts of Swindon, WatchBattery UK Ltd (incorporating Online-batteries) is a privately owned company and the company’s 5 employees are all local people that have been with us for 8 years or more.

The staff:-

Claire – Director – Finance wizard and can run the business single-handedly. Likes all chocolate.

Andrew – Director – Computer wizard and technical buff. Likes bits and bytes.

Roland – Business Manager - Contributes to everything. Likes white chocolate.

Liz – Order Processing - Processes and packs your orders. Likes chocolate digestives.

Heather – Order Processing - Processes and packs and customer care. Likes cough sweets.

We pride ourselves on our professionalism in providing a high-level of service to our customers and offering products that are keenly priced and are all sourced directly from the manufacturer or their official UK distributors.

We want you to receive your order just as quickly as we can get it to you. So you can find us working frantically to process all orders received by 3.30pm, Mon-Fri, for despatch that day. Phew! We did it again!
But after 3.30pm we need a rest, so orders received after our cut-off time or received at the weekend will be processed and despatched the next working day.

Guided tours are no longer available and all media requests have been put on hold because we just don’t have the time;-) So for now please contact us by email or telephone and one of us will be happy to help you out and get you all powered up again!
